The Art of Tomb Raider Update

The day has finally arrived. The book is at the printers and will begin printing in the next few days. This has been a long, long road getting this book done. We missed a few deadlines and did not make our Christmas release but we wanted to get this right. Working along with Crystal Dynamics this will be an awesome book for Tomb Raider fans. The book is packed with tons of drawings, paintings and just about everything we could fit into the book without making it any bigger than it already is. Thanks for all your support in this project. New Items Posted

There are some new Ralph McQuarrie Items posted on the website. The Ark of the Covenant print is back, as well as a few "Signed" ones.

From ACME ARCHIVES is the the limited edition of 100 Boba Fett print that premiered at San Diego Comic Con 2009. We are offering A/P's from Ralph's personal inventory.

Last but not to say the least is Original Star Wars Portfolio prints that have been in storage for awhile because these have Ralph's full signature on them from around 1996-1998.

New Website and Email Problems

There has been issue with the emails the last few weeks. When we started the change over to the new site and server not everything went smoothly. If you have tried to email us and never got an answer give us another ping. Everything should be going through correctly.

The Art of Tomb Raider and website updates

After two years in development, The Art of Tomb Raider is almost here. We're anxious to get the book into the hands of the fans who have been waiting so patiently for it to be released; frankly we can't wait to hold the finished product in our hands.

The book is in the final approval stages and then it will be off to the printer. We are currently scheduled for a December release, a little later than we had hoped, but it is in the home stretch.

You can place a pre-order on the newly updated Dreams and Visions Press website, featuring a new look and an easy to navigate secure shopping cart system. We've also added several new products, including the extremely limited signed hardcover editions of Star Wars: The Art of Ralph McQuarrie and an entire category of Art Prints. This new section will be expanded to include several new artists that we are currently working with. We look forward to bringing their unseen work to the public.

Dreams and Visions Press at Wondercon

We will be exhibiting at Wondercon in San Francisco next weekend, and invite you to stop by to say hello.

We'll be talking about our forthcoming Art of Tomb Raider, as well as selling copies of The Art of Ralph McQuarrie. We have pulled the last remaining copies of the book from the warehouse, including some slightly worn scratch and dent copies that will be offered at a discount of the original retail prices of the book. These include some of the last copies hand signed by Ralph McQuarrie.

In addition, we will have copies of the Japanese exclusive Star Wars: The Art of Ralph McQuarrie, and for the first time offering an electronic file with an English translation of the text for those of you unable to read Japanese (or enjoy it just for the beautiful illustrations). Don't worry - if you've purchased the book already, you'll be able to get a copy of the file from us after the show.

Finally, we will have copies of the Ralph McQuarrie: Illustrator DVD, as well as the Caroline Munro: First Lady of Fantasy DVD (including a limited number of the signed limited edition).
